Production of the part! With the preliminaries out of the way we can proceed to the actually production of the part. There are several ways to proceed. For instance in case of the V-drive that is originally sand casted we produced the prototype with additive manufacturing or more popular 3D printing in wax. This is of course lost when the actual pour is done but for a prototype this is fully acceptable. The regular production run of the V-drive is then as is normal sand casted. We will always choose the best and or most economic way to re-create a part. Paramount is that the part we produce will at least be up to original specs. Where possible we strive to improve upon the existing part in any way we can if the originality of the receiving object allows it.
